NAGCO Water Vapor (Metric) H₂O detector tubes are designed for measuring water vapor concentrations using NAGCO pumps and tubes. The tubes provide three measurement ranges for flexibility across different moisture concentrations.

The tube uses a chemical reaction between water vapor and magnesium perchlorate to produce the color change used for measurement. Temperature can affect the measurement, so accurate temperature measurement is required when using the tube.
Cross-Sensitivity: The datasheet reports no apparent reading from methane, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, nitrogen dioxide, or phosphine under the listed test conditions. Ammonia, acetone, and ethanol can produce readings and should be considered when interpreting measurements.
