Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Detector Tubes | Standard Range: 2-40% | N10-103-50

NAGCO Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) detector tubes are designed for measuring high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide using NAGCO pumps and tubes. The tubes provide three measurement ranges for flexibility across different H₂S concentrations.

The tube uses a reaction between hydrogen sulfide and copper sulfate to produce a color change from light blue to black. The standard range uses 0.5 pump strokes with a 50 mL sample volume and a 1.5-minute sampling time. For best accuracy, the datasheet recommends a measurement time of exactly 2 minutes.

Cross-Sensitivity: The datasheet reports no apparent response from carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitric oxide, methane, sulfur dioxide, isobutylene, hexane, benzene, or toluene under the listed test conditions. Ammonia may produce an apparent reading of 3.5% with a blue coloration.

Important: Other possible interferences include mercaptans. The datasheet reports no response to sulfides.
