Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Detector Tubes | Standard Range: 0.25-3% | N10-104-45
NAGCO Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) detector tubes are designed for measuring carbon dioxide concentrations using NAGCO pumps and tubes. The tubes provide three measurement ranges for flexibility across different CO₂ concentrations.
Specifications:
• Standard Range: 0.25–3%
• Extended Range: 0.125–1.5%
• Extended Range: 0.5–6%
• Number of Pump Strokes (Standard Range): 1
• Sample Volume (Standard Range): 100 mL
• Sample Time (Standard Range): 2 minutes
• Correction Factor (Standard Range): 1
• Precision (Relative Standard Deviation): ≤ ±10%
• Linearity with Number of Pump Strokes: r² = 0.999
• Humidity: No effect between 5–85% RH
• Temperature Range: 0–40°C (32–104°F)
• Temperature Correction Factor: 0.85 at 0°C/32°F; 0.95 at 10°C/50°F; 1.0 at 23°C/73°F; 1.05 at 40°C/104°F
• Storage Life: 3 years in darkness at 5–25°C (40–77°F); refrigeration preferred
• Color Change: White → Purple
• Part Number: N10-104-45
The tube uses a chemical reaction between carbon dioxide and hydrazine that produces a pH indicator color change from white to purple. The standard range uses 1 pump stroke with a 100 mL sample volume and a 2-minute sampling time.
Cross-Sensitivity: The datasheet reports no apparent response from carbon monoxide, nitric oxide, ammonia, methane, hydrogen sulfide, hexane, or toluene under the listed test conditions. Sulfur dioxide may produce an apparent reading under certain concentrations.
Important: Acid gases may interfere with measurements, and ammonia can interfere when present in mixtures.
