Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Detector Tubes | Standard Range: 5-40% | N10-104-60
NAGCO Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) detector tubes are designed for measuring carbon dioxide concentrations using NAGCO pumps and tubes. The tubes provide three measurement ranges for flexibility across different CO₂ concentrations.
Specifications:
• Standard Range: 5–40%
• Extended Range: 1.25–10%
• Extended Range: 2.5–20%
• Number of Pump Strokes (Standard Range): 0.5
• Sample Volume (Standard Range): 50 mL
• Sample Time (Standard Range): 1 minute
• Correction Factor (Standard Range): 1
• Precision (Relative Standard Deviation): ≤ ±10%
• Humidity: No effect between 5–100% RH
• Temperature Range: No effect between 0–40°C (32–104°F)
• Storage Life: 3 years in darkness at 5–25°C (40–77°F); refrigeration preferred
• Color Change: White → Purple
• Part Number: N10-104-60
The tube uses a chemical reaction between carbon dioxide and hydrazine that produces a pH indicator color change from white to purple. The standard range uses 0.5 pump strokes with a 50 mL sample volume and a 1-minute sampling time.
Cross-Sensitivity: The datasheet reports no apparent response from carbon monoxide, nitric oxide, ammonia, methane, hydrogen sulfide, hexane, isobutylene, or toluene under the listed test conditions. Sulfur dioxide may produce an apparent reading of 0.5 at a concentration of 4,000 ppmv.
Important: Acid gases and other aromatic compounds may interfere with measurements.
