Benzene Separation Tubes | Standard Range: 0.1-1000ppm | N012-3022-010

NAGCO Benzene (C₆H₆) detector tubes are designed for measuring benzene concentrations using a 9.8 eV standard lamp. The tubes provide a broad measurement range and are designed for use across a range of temperatures and humidity conditions.

• Sample Volume: 1125 mL at 2–10°C; 675 mL at 10–15°C; 450 mL at 15–30°C; 300 mL at 30–40°C
• Humidity: No effect on reading from 0–95% RH
• Storage Life: 3 years unopened when stored in darkness at 5–25°C (40–77°F); refrigeration preferred
• Opened Tube Use: Use within 1 hour to avoid loss of capacity
• Color Change: Yellow → Brown → Green

Calibration should be performed at the same temperature as the measurement, and recalibration is preferable when changing batches. Humid, clean air drawn through the tube before measurement can reduce VOC capacity. Drawing humid air for extended periods or liquid water through the tubes may damage the instrument.

The tube has documented cross-sensitivity to several compounds, including chlorobenzene, trichloroethylene, and perchloroethylene. Additional cross-sensitivity information is provided in the datasheet. Each tube contains 3 mg of chromium compounds.
